Multi stage Blowers

Multi-stage blowers are designed according to applications and can be adapted to meet client-specific or process requirements.
Industrial SD VTK multi-stage blowers

SiccaDania delivers both tailor-made as well as standard multi-stage centrifugal blowers with differential pressures up to 1.2 bar(g) at ambient inlet conditions.

Incineration and other high-pressure process applications can require flow/pressure ratios that cannot be achieved with one impeller.

Tailor-Made Multi-Stage Blowers

The tailor-made multi-stage blowers can be delivered up to 4 stages with differential pressures up to 1.2 bar(g) at ambient conditions and up to 3 bar(g) in high-pressure systems or with heavier gasses.

Our blowers are applied worldwide for a variety of applications and gasses. The selection and ancillaries are specifically selected based on process conditions and operational envelope.

In many cases, these blowers are equipped with bearing and process monitoring and, when toxic gases or high-pressure applications are involved, with special shaft seals and seal gas supply systems.

These ancillary systems are fully designed and manufactured by SiccaDania VTK.

Standard Multi-Stage Blower type S395

The standard multi-stage blower, type S395, is noted for its compact, rigid construction.

Standardised components make it possible to combine four suction inlet positions with four air discharge positions, giving a choice of sixteen combinations.

The bearings are designed for arduous duty conditions and carry a robust steel shaft of generous proportions, designed for a critical speed, at least 40% greater than the maximum running speed.

The impellers are made from aluminium alloy, suitable for a maximum inlet temperature of 60 and can handle gas with non-abrasive dust.

The v-belt drives are designed to the ISO series of v-ropes and pulleys, allowing for a selection from four rpm ratings.

The S395 fan can be supplied with 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 stages, with a choice of four rpm ratings.

Typical applications for the multi stage blowers

  • 2-stage Air Blower for a production line, conveying material from the extruder or granulator to a storage facility over 300 m
  • 3-stage Incinerator Air Blower for a Sulphur Recovery application, maintaining a constant pressure of 0.8 bar(g) in a header, complete with inlet control valve, blow-off valve and anti-surge system
  • 4-stage Start-up Blower for gradually pressurizing a closed process loop of a reactor to 4.0 bar(g), equipped with inlet and recycle valve, intercooler for recycling line and including process monitoring system with performance controller and anti-surge safeguarding. Blower casing design pressure 11 bar(g)
